Temperance Mark Dec 2019

It was a wet and miserable night for Temperance Mark Lodge No774 December meeting and with the Worshipful Master, WBro Mike Cunliffe being at a funeral and the IPM stuck in traffic on the M56.  It was time for the Lodge to go to plan ‘C’.

This meant WBro Andy Whittle, PAGDC, going into the chair. One of the items of business was the election of a Master and treasurer for the ensuing year. This honour of Master fell to WBro Mike Cunliffe who had agreed to do a second year and WBro Fred Hulse won the election for treasurer.

The main event of the meeting was a three-part talk by WBro David Anderton, PGJD, and ProvRAMGR, which covered, the Royal Ark Mariner Degree; (David is the Lodge R.A.M ambassador); the Mark Master Apron and The Keystone.
David Anderton
It was a very interesting and enjoyable talk, appreciated by all at the meeting. The acting Master expressed his thanks to WBro Anderton on behalf of the Lodge and others also expressed their individual thanks.

During the rising there was a Grand Lodge Certificate to present to Bro Steve Williams and this was presented and explained by WBro Andy Whittle. At the festive board both the Worshipful Master and IPM had arrived and WBro was relegated back to DC.
